Bar Lola opened in May, 2006 on Munjoy Hill in Portland’Äôs East End. We serve a changing menu of carefully crafted dishes made from the best seasonal ingredients.

We offer a five-course menu of small, medium, salad, large, and sweet plates. Our small plates are just a few bites and our large plates are a bit smaller than a conventional main course. You can try one, two or even all five courses - depending on your appetite and curiosity.

’Äú...Bar Lola has sprung from 158 like Athena from Zeus: elegant, wise, and fond of good olive oil. That oil is served already sprinkled with coarse salt and pepper, on a lovely and unusual plate hand-made here in Maine, along with 158’Äôs wonderful bread. It’Äôs the appropriate introduction to a meal that will be comfortable and familiar even as it is unique and intriguing.’Äù
